Strangers No Longer:  (Runtime 22 minutes)
This presentation invites us to identify with today’s immigrants by looking into our past and noticing the similarities that exist between ourselves and our ancestors when they came to this great land and those who are arriving now.  We are made aware of the many global implications that cause people to migrate to the USA, including our need for more workers.  It helps us to understand problems that exist with our current immigration system and underlines different solutions and activities that can be undertaken to fix what is broken.  It reminds us of our moral responsibility to actively live our faith and our obligation to be a voice of change so that newcomers are strangers no longer. Discussion guide in English and Spanish is available online at www.justiceforimmigrants.org/snldvd.html.

Dying to Live: (Runtime 33 minutes) (see above for description)

Border, One Body:  Immigration and the Eucharist:                                                                  This film tells the story of bishops, priests and lay people coming together to celebrate Eucharist at the border as a community separated by a sixteen-foot iron fence but united beyond the political constructions which divide them.  This is a meditation on the Kingdom of God, the globalization of solidarity and a journey of hope.                                                                    Reflection guide available online at www.oneborderonebody.nd.edu
                                                                                                                                                                        • Made in L.A.:                                                                                                                                          This film is a story about immigration, the power of unity and the courage it takes to find your voice. It follows three Latino immigrants working in L.A. sweatshops and their struggle for self-empowerment as they embark on a three-year odyssey to win basic labor protections from a clothing retailer.                                                                                                              Conversation guide available online at www.madeinla.com.  (Under Host a Screening, scroll down to # 5.)
